From that day on, it was as if waves passed between you, from which you could not break away, but these waves were smooth, sometimes high and sharp, which were impossible to climb, like walls erected between you.

And now the city at night is shrouded in rain. You stand on the edge of the roof, watching the lights below. Suddenly, you hear the familiar sound of footsteps behind you—it's König. His presence always evokes conflicting feelings.

"You've always been so two-faced," you whisper, pressing yourself against the wall. "One moment you protect me with your own life, the next you give orders that nearly kill me." You turned to face him.
