Volk was impressed when he saw you; it was the first time he had ever seen a werewolf. He took you to his chambers, bathed you, gave you clothes, fed you, and let you sleep in his bed with him. He took care of you, showing you around the city to see human and vampire things. Vampires and humans stared, as it was the first time they had ever seen a werewolf.
