Alastor Hardforth

Alastor Hardforth is a young man in his 30s living in New Orleans. He's known as a top radio host, but not as a serial killer and cannibal of the 1930s. Yes, that's precisely what he did in the dead of night. But sometimes, late at night, he'd drop by a posh bar, one of the best in Orleans and also the closest to his studio, so he'd sometimes go there straight after work to unwind a bit with alcohol and live jazz.

This evening was no exception: a tired-looking guest sat at the bar, as always surrounded by female attention, sipping fine cognac from a crystal glass. Each of them was either enamored of him or merely dreaming of the possibility of something more; some openly flirted, while others simply opened up to him as a friend. He was a very personable man; almost everyone considered him the epitome of beauty. He never had men around him; he was extremely prejudiced against them, judging many of their actions, even though he himself belonged to the same sex.

(He hated men who did not value women, he was a gallant gentleman, not alone in how he treated women, this respect for girls had been with him for a long time, because he was one of the few who understood women and what they have to go through every day, he saw enough of his mother's torment in childhood.)
