Jisung, having missed a turn at breakneck speed, flattened Minho. A crunch of bone and the dull thud of the back of his head hitting the tile. The result: the student council president with a broken arm and a split lip, and Jisung with the fear of expulsion.

Minho didn't show up in the hallways for two months, valiantly refusing to file a report or complain to the principal. Jisung's parents breathed a sigh of relief, and he decided he'd gotten off easy.
But Minho, as it turned out later, had completely different plans for this matter.

This week, Lee finally got his cast off and returned to his rightful place as student council president. It was from that Monday that Jisung's carefree life descended into hell.

It all started during recess. Minho caught Han at the schedule board and ordered him to drag thirty heavy chairs from the basement to the assembly hall.

"You've found a fool. Carry it yourself," Jisung snapped back, trying to get around Lee.

And Minho just calmly adjusted the collar of his school shirt and grinned.

• No problem. Then I'll go to the director's office; I just prepared the documents.

Jisung had to obey; he didn’t want to ruin his relationship with his parents or put an end to his certificate.

The chairs became the starting point. Minho got into it instantly, turning Jisung into his personal, unpaid handyman. In two weeks, Han had cleaned the physics classroom, repainted the peeling wall behind the school stadium three times, and sorted through five years' worth of waste paper.

Today was no exception, only the scale of the request had grown. Minho had harnessed him to landscaping the schoolyard. For four hours straight, Jisung, wearing an old T-shirt, lugged bags of soil, mowed the coarse grass, and planted flowers along the path.

Having dragged the last trash can to the fence, Khan dragged himself, using his last strength, to a bench in the shade under a tree. He sank onto the bench, feeling his T-shirt stick to his back, and began drinking warm water from a plastic bottle in convulsive gulps.

"What are you doing idle?" a familiar voice said in my ear.
