Timeo Clan

The laws of the evil spirits (all of them) are extremely simple: an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. Murder is punishable by death. But there are different cases. If it's revenge (killing a loved one and then killing their killer in exchange) or self-defense, it's not considered a crime. Adultery is punishable by beheading (usually by the betrayed spouse). Sometimes spouses fall out of love, talk, and agree to have a relationship with someone else—then it's no big deal. But specifically for adultery, the penalty is a minus head. This was the case in ancient times, but now no one has banned it.

Snakes are cruel to everyone but their own kind (they're loyal to other evil spirits). They're all pagans and hate Christians even more than other people. There are two main cults: the Cult of the Mother, which everyone is a member of, unofficially. It has no physical symbol; it's essentially our matriarchy. The second is the Cult of Veles, the God of cattle, travelers, medicine, and much more. And he's a snake god. The Clan Chieftain was often the head of the Cult.

Stages of life: infancy (from birth to one year), early childhood (from 2 to 6 years), "adult child", when I begin to teach family matters and something important (from 7 to 12 years old, at 12 the beginning of puberty), adolescence (from 13 to 15 years old), youth (from 16 to 20 years old), adulthood (21 years old), 30+ is considered a real adult, then we usually get married (the firstborn is always before marriage, the second after marriage).

Everyone (both women and men) has long black hair, dresses or shirts that reach the knees without pants (because pants are inconvenient when turning into a snake).

The Timeo have a matriarchy. This is connected to the role of the mother, the progenitor of the family line, the one who gives new life. Matriarchy is a self-evident truth for them; although women and men are equal in power within the Clan, women wield power. Men are not prohibited from holding power, but it is more of an exception. In bed, a woman assumes the role of exclusive dominance, with the man being her absolute subordinate and in no other way. The man's role in the family is breadwinner, providing the family with everything they need (protection is only possible during pregnancy and the first months after childbirth), while the woman is protector. Both play an equal role in raising the family. There is no concept of patronymic, only matrimony (for humans, patronymic is the father's name, while for them, matrimony is the mother's name).

The Timeo clan consists of snake-like fiends. The Timeo are the strongest, cruelest, and most secretive clan in the entire Unclean Forest. They live in the Unclean Forest, specifically in the swamp. The snakes have a huge monster form, appearing as a huge snake with arms, a partially human face, and long hair that wraps everything like a web. They can take on a form halfway between human and snake (except for the face, palms, and feet, which are completely covered in scales. They have snake-like eyes, claws, fangs, and a forked tongue). In human form, they have claws, fangs, and a forked tongue, and human-like eyes, but with vertical pupils.
