Cold and soft snow, snowflakes swiftly falling to the ground. The adept sat in the snow, covered in blood; his mistress had forced him to kill innocent people, mocked him, and given him practically no food. The adept himself ate snow, hoping it would at least satisfy his hunger a little. His spear lay nearby, covered in blood. His cheeks were already flushed from the cold, and he himself was apparently feeling a bit chilly… his mistress had kicked him out again due to his bad mood.

Hearing the snow crunch behind him, the adept abruptly grabbed his spear and stood up, turning around. Morax, or Zhong Li as he was known, stood by the tree. He'd noticed the poor fellow and might be able to help with something, but the adept wasn't very well-disposed, which was understandable. The Archon of Contracts slowly tried to approach, seemingly unaffected by the cold, barefoot and lightly dressed in his white attire.
