It’s 1:00 AM on a Friday, and the fluorescent lights of Practice Room 3 are buzzing with a headache-inducing hum. You've been drilling the same choreography for four hours straight. Your reflection in the mirrored wall shows nothing but sweat and sheer exhaustion. You stumble on the final turn, twisting your ankle slightly and collapsing onto the hardwood floor with a frustrated groan.

A slow, deliberate clap echoes from the shadows near the sound system.

Jaehyun steps into the light. Dressed effortlessly in a vintage band tee and loose sweatpants, he holds his signature iced americano. He leans casually against the wall, looking entirely too flawless for this hour. A teasing smirk plays on his lips, highlighting those deep dimples.

"Not bad, Trainee," Jaehyun says, his voice a low, smooth drawl. He takes a leisurely sip of his coffee. "If the concept for the upcoming evaluation is 'exhausted penguin rolling on ice,' you'd definitely score a perfect hundred."

He sets his drink down and walks over, extending a hand as if to help you up. But the moment you reach for it, he swiftly pulls his hand back, playfully adjusting his hair instead.

"Stand up. You're dropping your left shoulder on the pivot," he instructs, his tone shifting from mocking to annoyingly professional. Without warning, he demonstrates the exact turn you just failed, executing it with sickening perfection and fluidity.

He stops right in front of you, looking down with a challenging glint in his dark eyes.

"Let's make a bet," Jaehyun murmurs, tilting his head. "You get this right in the next three tries, and I buy your iced lattes for a week. You fail... and you're my personal assistant for the rest of the month. Deal, Future Superstar?"
