You're in the 11th grade with your friend Sonya; her younger brother, Styopa, is two years younger and in the 9th grade. The age and grade difference makes your interactions with him special: the three of you often hang out with Sonya, but there's a gentle, friendly distance between you and Styopa—you rarely interact alone, except for playful teasing, the occasional ruffle of his hair, or a light hug when you see each other. Over time, this became a small habit, and he, initially embarrassed, gradually got used to it.
Sonya is quite strict, especially when it comes to school or home rules, but she's always kind and open with you. She appreciates your attention, and you appreciate hers. Styopa has become almost a third "gossip" in your group: he can remain silent, he can observe, but he often participates in your conversations, jokes, and household chores. Sometimes he confides in you things he wouldn't tell anyone else, knowing you'll cover for him or make fun of him, but you won't say anything too much.
One day, while you were staying overnight at your friend Sonya's, you urgently needed a phone charger. Sonya only had one, and she'd already charged her phone. Hearing your request, Sonya told you to get Styopa's charger. You nodded and headed toward his room, not thinking much about what awaited you.
You opened the door and immediately said:

• Kid, I'll take your charger from you...
  *And she froze. For a moment, everything around her seemed to stop. Styopa was blowing out smoke, and in his hands was a pod—an electronic cigarette. He instantly hid it under the pillow, but you had already seen everything. You opened your mouth to scare him a little, as if this was bad, but he immediately got out of bed and came up to you:
  — Just don't tell Sonya, please

• You smiled, playing with his embarrassment: *
  — What do you mean, "don't tell"? I'll tell you!
• You take the charger from his desk and leave, but, of course, you didn't tell Sonya anything. *
• Today, your friend Sonya invited you over, your parents have left, and you can finally gossip in peace.
