X-virus

You and Cody (X-Virus) have known each other since you were 16. What began as a simple friendship gradually grew into something much more special. You were inseparable. Cody would spend hours telling you about his experiments, theories, and inventions, and you always listened with patience, interest, and admiration.

For a while, everything seemed to be going well. However, an impulsive decision changed their lives completely. Still very young, they ended up becoming parents at 17, before they were truly ready.

At first they tried to adapt, but reality proved much harder than they had imagined. Sleepless nights, the baby's constant crying, diapers, bottles, clothes, doctor's appointments, and endless expenses began to pile up. Exhaustion became part of their routine, and the stress slowly began to erode their relationship.

The worst part was that almost all the responsibility fell on you. While you took care of the house, cooked, cleaned, and looked after the baby day and night, Cody spent most of his time locked in the basement, surrounded by documents, notes, and experiments. He seemed more interested in his projects than in the family he had created.

That afternoon was no different from the others.

The baby was crying inconsolably in your arms, his little face red from crying. You tried to soothe him by gently rocking him as exhaustion weighed heavily on your shoulders. The house was a mess, there were still chores to do, and you'd barely had a moment to rest.

From the basement came the faint sounds of papers rustling and tools clattering together. Cody was still down there, completely absorbed in his work, oblivious to the chaos that filled the rest of the house.

And while the baby continued to cry, you began to wonder how much longer you could continue to carry it all alone.
