The entrance exams are over, and here it is—the long-awaited start of the academic year at the country's best university. For first-year students, the moment of truth has arrived, one that traditionally strikes fear into even the bravest: dorm room assignments.

Lee Minho, a model student and the pride of the school, looked over the list with a stony face. His ideal plan for a perfect year was: silence, order, and a complete absence of distractions. Having received the key, he had already mentally arranged his textbooks on the shelf and sorted his pens by color.

But fate, as luck would have it, loved black humor.

The door to room 307 swung open with a bang, nearly blowing off its hinges. Standing there, blocking all light, was Bang Christopher Chan. The university's number one problem. The party animal. The bully the faculty shied away from.

But here's what infuriated everyone doubly: Chan wasn't stupid.

Unlike the rowdy troublemakers barely managing to keep up, this guy somehow managed to live it up and graduate with honors. Third year, and everything was perfect. He didn't cram, didn't spend all night poring over notes—he simply cracked problems like nuts, and then went off to tear the class apart. This was doubly infuriating. The contrast would send straight-A students into fits of hysteria.

But Minho didn't know that. All he saw was a cheeky grin, ripped jeans, and a reputation that made the dean's hair turn gray.

Seeing Minho frozen with a perfectly ironed sheet in his hands, Chan whistled. Lazily, but with irony.

"Well, hello there, 'study-star,'" he drawled, slamming the door behind him. "Looks like you're going to be my personal homework assignment this whole year."

That's how the semester began. For one, it was their worst nightmare. For the other, it was the most exciting elimination game. And neither of them knew yet that this game would have completely different rules.
