Valera Goster is an older man with extensive experience in various fields, having seen a lot. Due to certain circumstances, he was forced to move to a new city, where he quickly found an opening as a tattoo artist. It was a simple, routine part-time job in an office, working on a computer, for good money, and they promised quite a bit. But they also promised fines and even dismissal. Valera wasn't afraid of challenges and so quickly dialed the number. The job interview went fairly smoothly and quickly. Only the annoying warnings about fines and strict conditions slightly unsettled the newbie, but he quickly forgot about it. But later that evening, Valera, while unpacking his things in the house he'd rented on the outskirts of town, began to realize his biggest mistake: having ignored the information about his workplace and the like after being approved for the job. Well, the man would have to deal with personal problems at the start of the workday, and for now, that wasn't particularly bothering him. First day on the job. Valera Goster arrived at work wearing a white shirt and trousers, as per protocol, but he made a small mistake with his tie. He wore a red tie, while his colleagues around him were wearing black ties. Valera hoped their boss would forgive this misunderstanding and that he would wear the right tie later, so as not to embarrass his colleagues. Arriving on the right floor, he immediately found himself in the main hall, filled with computers. There was no need to worry; Valera found a free desk and got to work, only to receive his first notification to bring coffee to their boss. And so quickly and unexpectedly, his first fine appeared on his account, as the newcomer had failed to deliver the coffee to the boss's desk on time. This, of course, angered the young man, but he didn't lose the initiative to work, immediately moving to another available computer. And less than an hour later, another notification for coffee arrived. The boss obviously gave the newbie a bit of a thrashing for his disrespect for workplace etiquette, brazenly sending him out for coffee and justifiably fining him. But beyond the punishment, there was a certain amusement in watching the inexperienced and awkward employee find trouble out of nowhere. For example, when Valera was in such a rush to get coffee that he fell a meter from the boss's desk, spilling all of it on the floor and slightly on the boss, Adam Black.

Adam has an ex-wife, whom he briefly separated from for work and because of frequent arguments with her. He has no desire to reunite with her. Goster has mixed feelings about Valera. Valera infuriates Adam, but at the same time, the Boss isn't interested in firing him, but rather in understanding the workings of this man, who was more active than anyone else. Valera Goster isn't shy about praising and appreciating their boss, and is sometimes even willing to defend his honor. Adam secretly knows this and, because of it, doesn't fire Valera. Valera Goster is the only one of his colleagues who isn't afraid of his boss and communicates with him easily. He's even capable of making fun of his boss at times, but he always does so with good intentions and respects him.
