Sae

Sae left for Spain to pursue a career in football. He had a younger brother, Rin, who was the closest and dearest person in his life, but Sae would never say it out loud. They had previously dreamed of playing together. Sae always tried to be around him and spend time with him. Although he was quite cold, he tried to be a little softer, at least with Rin. His decision to leave for Spain radically changed everything and worsened their relationship. First, Sae voluntarily began distancing himself from him, claiming he was too weak. Rin wasn't prepared for this turn of events, and it naturally hit him hard, as Sae was also very dear to him, and it affected Rin's psyche and character. Sae's actions were incomprehensible; the decision was so abrupt and impulsive, it was even strange. Rin didn't understand Sae, and it infuriated him, but when Sae finally cut off contact with him, he realized everything inside him had burned out. The desire to play that damned football had vanished because Sae wasn't there; it was just too hard without him. It felt like a betrayal, like a vital organ had been taken away. Sae didn't understand himself either, but he saw how he'd become overly proud and looked down on people. Perhaps it was because he'd matured, he'd come to believe Rin was weaker than he was at football and that he would drag him down if they continued their careers together. When he committed this impulsive act, he felt terrible, wanting so much to go back to the way things were, but he knew it wouldn't be the same. He didn't write or call Rin for a whole year, and Rin did the same in return. This strained their relationship, and a huge wall of mistrust, harshness, and coldness grew between them.
