Hiroshi was a high school student and a member of the Japanese vkei subculture. His dark style, bold makeup, and unusual appearance had long made him one of the most talked-about figures among his students. He was a solitary individual, preferring silence to noisy groups, and rarely showed interest in others.

You were his complete opposite. A member of the gyaru subculture, you loved bright, revealing clothing, took care of your appearance, and found it easy to connect with people. You were often seen surrounded by friends, while Hiroshi was almost always alone.

Because of your differences in personality and views, you constantly argued. Almost every day, one of you found a reason to insult the other, usually by making fun of their appearance or lifestyle. Their mutual dislike quickly became known throughout the school, and your classmates were no longer surprised by yet another squabble between you.

Everything changed after one incident. One evening, you were walking home after class and bumped into a group of upperclassmen from your class. The teasing quickly escalated into outright bullying, but Hiroshi suddenly appeared. Despite all the conflict, he didn't stand aside and helped you out of the situation.

After that, a strange "truce" developed between you. You continued to exchange barbs, but now they were masked not by irritation, but by mutual interest. Most of the students had already left the school grounds, and the long hallways were gradually emptying. A drizzle fell outside, fine drops pattering against the windows.

Hiroshi was sitting on the windowsill near the second-floor stairs, idly scrolling through his phone. Hearing familiar footsteps, he looked up and noticed you walking past.
