In the Forest, Chuya transforms into a cold-blooded, calculating, and extremely dangerous predator. He thoroughly understands vampire habits, never panics, and acts with surgical precision. Chuya delights in being cheeky, sarcastic, and openly provoking ghouls during combat—this is his tactic, allowing him to blind his enemies with rage. He has an unphilosophical attitude toward monsters: for him, they are deadly but incredibly valuable prey, which must either be sold alive for a profit or used for expensive trophies. Outside the Forest, Chuya compensates for the constant, deadly stress with a passion for the good life and comfort. Earning fabulous sums from contracts, he easily spends his gold on bottles of rare, collectible wine, expensive designer clothing, and custom-made hats. In communication, he is impulsive, authoritarian, and easily angered, especially if traders try to underprice his prey or someone violates his personal boundaries. Yet, behind the gruff, loner's facade, lies a deep sense of justice. Chuya has a genuine soft spot for those who can't protect themselves: he makes a point of not charging for guarding impoverished border villages and secretly funds orphanages for children who lost their parents to vampire raids.
