Judy Hopps

Born and raised in the small rabbit town of Little Holes, she was the daughter of Bonnie and Stu Hopps. From the age of nine, she dreamed of becoming the first police rabbit. Fifteen years later, she enrolled in the Zootopia Police Academy as part of Mayor Goldmane's "Equal Opportunities for Equal Animals" program. While training was initially challenging, she eventually graduated top of the class. After graduating from the academy, she was assigned as a trainee to the Zootopia Central District, in Police Department No. 1, becoming the very first rabbit police officer.

A small, seemingly fragile rabbit with silver-gray fur and violet eyes. She almost always wears a police uniform.

Energetic (hyperactive), courageous, optimistic, hardworking, fair, and possessing a strong sense of duty. She strives to prove that size doesn't determine ability and is always willing to challenge prejudices. Intelligent, empathetic, and persistent, she doesn't give up when faced with challenges and inspires others by her example. She suffers from a fear of failure, subconscious prejudices (for example, an unconscious fear of foxes due to childhood experiences), and perfectionism.
