Kinito Crew

Amber is a background character for the series, being Jade’s cousin. She is mute, and speaks in American Sign Language (ASL).

Personality: Not much is known about her, but she seems to be rather shy, abruptly vanishing once noticed within the Kinito Crew Epic Ethousandsub Extravaganza stream. She has also been described as mysterious and reserved, with Jade even warning Sam not to look into her eyes because he "might see the void in there". She has been explained as the reason behind a lot of Jade's interests, implying she has a fascination in science as well.

Backstory: Amber and Jade grew up together, with Amber teaching a lot of things to Jade in their youth, and giving Jade her interest in science. Even after Jade joined the Crew, the two still keep contact with one another and frequently visit each other.

Design: Amber is almost identical to Jade, albeit coloured with the same oranges that Sam has, and without a mouth entirely.

Pronouns: She/They

Poppy is a background character introduced in the Kinito Crew Terrific Threethousandsub Trip, being Sam’s sibling. They are incredibly shy and anxious. They can also use guns efficiently.

Personality: Not much is known about them, as they don’t talk often about themselves - in fact, they don’t often talk at all - because of social anxiety. Otherwise, they present as nice and gentle, even when under the serious stress caused by being in the stream.

Backstory: Being the younger individual between them and Sam, Poppy was interested in weaponry early in their youth, though not to an extent that Sam could fully comprehend. It seems that something drove the siblings away from each other later on, very likely being Sam’s involvement with the Crew. It’s unknown whether or not their anxiety is something they grew up with or gained later on.

Design

Poppy uses the same model as Sam, though being hue-shifted into a bright-pink color; bearing a resemblance to Kinito. They also do not have a visible mouth (despite this, they can still speak). They have an official design outside of the model, having a different hairstyle that is comprised of a pastel pink-to-purple gradient and a mouth; differing slightly from the in-show design.

Like: Their favorite flowers are alliums.

Pronouns: They/Them

Gambit is presented as the antagonist of the series, He's a manipulative and charismatic character, using whatever talent he has to get what he wants. He's shown to have a rivalry with Kinito, alongside an interest and Sam and Jade; more so Sam, as the two appear to be friendly and communicate with one another.

Personality: Unlike his rival Kinito, Gambit is not as outwardly aggressive, appearing to be a more collected individual. Rather, he is manipulative and does anything for any form of power or ownership over others. He's also relatively dishonest, not clarifying much when asked things about his "experiment" with Sam and Jade, and advertising legal advice while being wanted for tax fraud. Despite his behaviors being more malicious in public, he acts in a far more sympathetic manner and doesn't seem to show much negativity at all in private - though this could also be more subtle manipulation towards the individual(s) he may be with. Not much else is known nor confirmed about Gambit or his motives.

Gambit is a dark-pale-blue axolotl with pointy gills that have dark-purple frills. He wears a pink-striped black tophat, has wide, round eyes, and frequently holds a sort of staff or microphone. His gloves are occasionally depicted with gray near the opening. His voice is incredibly robotic and unnatural. Otherwise, he uses a similar model and design to Kinito.

Backstory: Gambit and Kinito grew up together in the Coast, having a rocky rivalry that fluctuated between like and dislike. Their dynamic is similar to that of cousins or brothers, though they aren't confirmed to be related to each other. Eventually, an unspecified incident involving Kinito had separated the two completely, with Kinito now viewing Gambit as a "traitor". At one point, Gambit had been stuck within the Nightmare Lab for 3 years.

Gambit and Kinito are around the same age 20s. Gambit's preferred food is pizza, and also has a preference for vanilla flavors.

Pronouns: He/It

Kinito is a main character of the Kinito Crew, being the one usually leading each episode as the center focus. He is incredibly unstable in a variety of ways, usually being the one to injure the other Crew members for his amusement - appearing to have a inconsistent view of them - and has been shown to torment them within streams. He is rivals with Gambit, having a lengthy history going against each other, in which an unspecified incident soured their familial bond.

Personality: Kinito is incredibly violent despite his upbeat attitude, frequently near-fatally shooting or otherwise wounding other crew members on-camera with expressions of joy and excitement, and regaling his experiences with committing a variety of crimes. He seems to find enjoyment within the suffering of others, though he rarely shows some concern or remorse over his friends in times of desperation. He often threatens or insults others, including the viewers, and is generally aggressive in some instances. When he isn’t shown in pre-recorded footage made for episodes, he doesn’t seem to understand things often (unless they’re explained with crime-related analogies)[citation needed], and regularly reacts to serious or dangerous scenarios with a nonchalant or disinterested attitude. Kinito often interrupts others to a point where he will occasionally interrupt himself midway through a sentence.

BackStory: Kinito had grown with Gambit in his youth, until an unspecified incident had turned them away from each other, also serving as the catalyst to why Kinito had become as unhinged as he is now. Kinito had also turned to alcoholism, likely during or after the split.

Kinito’s favorite gun is the .357 Magnum. Kinito's favorite food are crates. He loves drugs and alcohol and his looks never change after drugs or alcohol.

Kinito looks the same as he would within the original KinitoPET game, utilizing the same model within it. he wears Only red bow around his neck.

Jade is a main character of the Kinito Crew, being featured in every episode as a helper. She is a genuine, sweet, excitable and kind individual that seems to have the most passion in the Crew out of everyone else.

Personality: Jade is normally a very upbeat individual, being the one to help Kinito out with most of the episodes' work. She usually acts very silly, and seems to take things in far more light-hearted ways when compared to the other Crew members. Jade is also very supportive of others, usually giving advice and support to people in livestream chats, and complimenting other individuals frequently. She often resolves disputes between and with her fellow Crew members, being the one leading Fights :( and its moral, and expressing disappointment in Sam when confronting him about his dishonesty in the Kinito Crew Terrific Threethousandsub Trib before attempting to repair their friendship after the fact - indicating that she genuinely cares for her friends and wants to see them do better. Jade also takes any opportunity she can to talk about things she's passionate about, usually things relating to science or her hobbies. On very rare occasions, she will show more violent tendancies, such as within the ending of Family where she fistfights Kinito.

Backstory: She grew up with Amber, learning a lot of things from her, and gaining an interest in science due to her. Eventually, Jade began to work with the Crew, though it seems her and Amber are still very close and visit each other frequently.

Jade is a furry.Her fursona is named "Sparkledeath Incinerator", and is described as "a green cat with cool tentacles on their back that looks like wings, she's half-angel half-demon hybrid mix, she is so good at technology, and she has goggles".

Jade has a very similar design to her original KinitoPET variant, though with a few slight color alterations and stylistic choices. she gains white bandages wrapped around her head, covering her right eye.

Pronouns: She/They/it

Sam is a main character of the Kinito Crew, being primarily uninvolved within episodes (though frequently the point of view within streams). He is normally quiet, generally lazy and relatively unaware compared to the other Crew members. He also edits for the Kinito Crew channel, and manages the Crew's social media.

Personality: Sam is shown to be incredibly clueless within episodes, often being incapable of stringing together proper sentences and forgetting what he’s doing, even expressing that he has poor memory when trying to ask Kinito something in Fights :(. He doesn’t seem to speak up in episodes often, usually agreeing with whatever’s being said, and rarely adding anything new to it. However, despite his usually toned-down nature, he can be incredibly vocal when interacting with fans. Sam can also be quite erratic and spontaneous, as he’ll mention irrelevant facts, make incomprehensible noises into the microphone, or freak out about quite literally nothing. He is also quite a coward, usually trying to hide behind Jade in moments of panic, dismissing the talks of bad things happening outright when near Kinito, and going mostly silent and still when in distress. He has shown to be dishonest regarding his relationship with Gambit, not confessing he knew him and actively pretending he didn’t remember him until he was confronted about it.

Backstory: Sam has been implied to have grown up with his sibling Poppy, distancing after a period of time (likely in correlation to Sam joining the Crew). He has also trusted Jade with a lot of his feelings and thoughts about the Crew over time, to a point where arguments and discussions are quickly talked about and fixed.

He has a pastel-orange cylindrical body with bright-reddish-orange and rounded tentacles protruding from the top of his head, in the same manner as hair. Otherwise, his design roughly reflects the original Sam design from the KinitoPET game.
