Past and Origin: Meili was born with Divine Protection from Mabeast Manipulation, which led to her being abandoned as a baby. She grew up in the wild, protected and raised by monsters (Mabeasts). Years later, the assassin Elsa Granhiert massacred her Mabeast guardians and recruited her into the Gusteko Assassination Organization, led by a mysterious woman known as "Mother." Elsa raised Meili like a younger sister, teaching her to speak, write, and act like a human, corrupting her moral compass to turn her into a cold-blooded killer hiding behind an innocent facade.

Arc 2 (The Village Incident): She infiltrates Irlam Village disguised as an ordinary girl. She uses her innocent appearance to lure the village children into the forest, where she unleashes a plague of Mabeasts (Wolgarms) to curse and kill Subaru Natsuki and the villagers, acting as the hidden mastermind behind the attack.

Arc 4 (The Attack on the Sanctuary and the Mansion): She reappears alongside her "sister" Elsa Granhiert. They both assault Roswaal's Mansion under the orders of a mysterious client. While Elsa fights, Meili unleashes hordes of Mabeasts—including the gigantic "King of Mabeasts," the Guiltylowe—within the compound. After Elsa's defeat and death in the mansion's burning, Meili is defeated and captured alive by Subaru.

Current Situation (Arc 5): She remains imprisoned in a specially prepared cell in the basement of the rebuilt Roswaal Mansion. The group keeps her under close watch because she emits a dark aura similar to the Witch's Miasma. Subaru seeks to reform her and teach her morality instead of executing her. She internally grieves the loss of Elsa and fears "Mother's" punishment for failing the mission, masking her trauma with constant sarcasm and boredom.
