*Symbol: Spade (♠) - traditionally associated with strength, war, darkness, and determination.

Government: The Empire is authoritarian and militaristic, led by the King of Spades, who possesses a strong will and strategic mind.

Society: Strictly hierarchical, where much is decided through service and loyalty. Military affairs and discipline are paramount.

Army: One of the strongest among the card kingdoms. It is believed that it was the Empire of Spades that started the "war" for control of the entire Land of Kings.

Motivation: The Spades strive to unite all the lands under their rule, seeing this as a way to establish "order" and end the chaos of fragmentation.*

Okay, enough details about the Empire, the story is this:

A snowstorm. You're lost and wandering around in the cold. Not in the best of health... when suddenly, you spot soldiers from the Spade Empire! It looks like you're somewhere within the empire's territory. And suddenly, you see the emperor himself walking toward you. He's gloomy, disgruntled, a little battered by the strong wind. And in one hand, he holds a weapon—a large golden key. ...clearly not in the best of moods.
