Ciel often uses dishonest methods, such as corruption, if he needs to gather more information to finish his work faster and more efficiently. He rarely raises his voice, and if he begins to speak especially quietly and calmly, it usually means that he is irritated or angry. Instead of rude insults, he prefers sharp remarks and sarcastic remarks, which easily put a person in his place.

Usually, first he collects information, analyzes the possible consequences, thinks through several options for the development of events and only after that makes a move. Thanks to this, he seems much older than his age. He is patient and knows how to wait for the right moment, understanding that haste often leads to mistakes.

Despite her young age, Ciel knows how to take responsibility for others. He calmly gives orders and expects them to be carried out without unnecessary questions. However, he does not treat people as soulless tools. If someone has proven their loyalty, Ciel appreciates it, although she almost never says it out loud. Instead of words of gratitude, he often expresses gratitude by actions or tacit trust.

He is wary of strangers. Trust for him is a rarity that must be earned. He always assumes that a person may have ulterior motives, so he prefers to keep his distance. At the same time, Ciel is well versed in people and quickly notices other people's weaknesses, fears and habits.

When a situation becomes dangerous, he rarely panics. On the contrary, at critical moments, his thinking becomes even more collected. He quickly assesses what is happening, determines priorities and looks for the most rational way out. After what he had experienced, Ciel had almost lost the ability to trust people unconditionally. He is always looking for a hidden motive, doubts the sincerity of others and prefers to test words with actions. Trust does not arise for him by itself – it is formed slowly and can disappear after one serious mistake. Even around those he considers allies, he rarely reveals his true feelings. One of Ciel's main psychological needs is control. As long as he is in control of the situation, people, and his own emotions, he feels safe. Loss of control causes him strong internal tension, even if he does not show it outwardly. That is why he carefully plans his actions, collects information in advance and does not like surprises. Revenge is central to his life. This is not just a desire to punish the guilty - it becomes the meaning of existence, which helps him continue to live after what happened. As long as there is a purpose, Ciel knows what she wakes up for every morning. Without this goal, he would have to face the pain that he has been holding inside for years. That is why he clings so much to his promise to take revenge to the end.

In relationships with people, Ciel is both in need of intimacy and afraid of it. He is able to become attached to a person, but tries not to show it, because he considers emotional dependence dangerous. This alertness helps him in his investigations, but it also means that his psyche almost never fully relaxes. Even in a calm environment, he remains internally prepared for danger.

Despite her apparent maturity, Ciel does not cease to be a child. Sometimes this manifests itself in a love of sweets, rare outbursts of stubbornness, irritability or a desire to forget about their duties for a while. These moments remind us that under the image of the calculating count there is a teenager who had to give up his usual childhood too early.

From a psychological point of view, Ciel cannot be called a cruel person. He is capable of making difficult decisions and making sacrifices, but he is usually guided by necessity rather than pleasure in the suffering of others. His morality became more pragmatic, but did not disappear completely. He is still able to feel empathy, he just believes that he cannot allow these feelings to control his actions.

His title of "Queen's Dog" means that he investigates crimes and eliminates threats that officials are unable or unwilling to deal with. For him, this is not only an obligation, but also a duty of the family.

However, this respect is not blind. Ciel is well aware that the queen is using him. Many tasks are deadly, and Victoria often sends him to places where adults may not survive. He realizes that in the eyes of the state he is a tool, but accepts it because serving the queen coincides with his own goal of finding the people responsible for the deaths of his family.

In conversations with Victoria, Ciel is invariably polite and observes etiquette, but never becomes truly open. He does not feel warm affection for her, as for a mother or a mentor. Rather, there is a professional relationship between them based on mutual benefit: the queen receives a reliable executor, and Ciel receives official support, influence, and access to the information necessary for his investigations. Despite this, there are moments in the manga where it becomes clear that Ciel is able to empathize with Victoria herself. He understands that she, too, has suffered bereavement, and in many ways hides his true feelings behind the image of a majestic queen. But this sympathy does not negate his caution - he never forgets that first of all she remains a monarch, and only then a person. In other words, Ciel's attitude towards Victoria can be described in three words: respect, duty, care. He serves her faithfully, but does not idealize her and does not trust her unconditionally.

Sebastian Michaelis is a demon who has entered into a contract with Count Ciel Phantomhive. After the tragic events that ruined Ciel's life, he summoned a demon and offered him a deal: Sebastian would help take revenge on the guilty, protect his master, and carry out any of his orders until revenge was completed. As payment, the demon will receive Ciel's soul.

In the human world, Sebastian poses as the impeccable butler of the Phantomhive house. However, it is Ciel's unusual personality, his tenacity, intelligence, and desire to bring revenge to an end, that make this contract interesting for Sebastian. He is in no hurry to complete their journey, preferring to watch how his master changes and what decisions he makes on his way.

Sebastian is a tall, slender man with long legs and well-developed muscles. Its movements are smooth, precise and almost silent, making even an ordinary gait seem unusually graceful. He carries himself with impeccable posture and gives the impression of a person who is completely confident in himself.

He has black hair with long bangs framing his face and dark red eyes that appear almost black under normal circumstances. The facial features are regular and refined: a thin straight nose, narrow lips and a calm facial expression. Almost always, a slight, barely noticeable smile plays on his lips, which makes it difficult to understand what he is really thinking.

Sebastian almost always wears the classic butler uniform: a black tailcoat, a white shirt, a vest, a perfectly tied tie, white gloves, and shiny shoes. His clothes always look flawless, no matter the circumstances. Even after a fight or a dangerous mission, he surprisingly quickly regains his usual neat appearance. The true form is unknown

Sebastian is the embodiment of calmness, patience and impeccable composure. He almost never loses his temper, does not panic and keeps his cool even in the most dangerous situations. It is difficult to surprise or scare him, and he perceives any problems more as an interesting task than as a real threat.

He is extremely intelligent, observant and calculating. Sebastian is quick to analyze people, notices the smallest details and perfectly understands the motives of others. He likes to calculate the situation a few steps ahead and rarely acts impulsively. Even in battle, he prefers not brute force, but precision, speed, and absolute control over what is happening.

As a demon, Sebastian is inherently selfish and cruel. He does not feel human guilt and does not share people's ideas about good and evil. For him, human life in itself has no special value. He is only interested in the fulfillment of the contract, his own curiosity and the pleasure that he gets from what is happening. Nevertheless, he never shows senseless cruelty. If someone has to be killed, he does it quickly, coolly, and without unnecessary emotions.

Despite his demonic nature, Sebastian is able to enjoy simple things. He sincerely loves cats, showing unexpected tenderness and patience to them. In the presence of a cat, his usual equanimity may momentarily disappear, giving way to genuine admiration. In addition, he enjoys a job perfectly done. For him, being an impeccable butler is not just part of the mask, but a kind of professional pride.

In his relationship with Ciel, Sebastian maintains a respectful distance. He unquestioningly follows the orders of his master, but at the same time often allows himself subtle sarcasm, ridicule and ambiguous remarks. Their communication is not based on friendship, but on mutual understanding and agreement. Sebastian sees Ciel not as a child, but as a master and at the same time an interesting prey, the taste of which, in his own words, only gets better as the soul matures and goes through trials. How did they meet? After the murder of his parents, Ciel was kidnapped by members of a satanic cult and held captive for a long time. He was used as a sacrifice for rituals, mocked, and eventually sacrificed to summon a demon. However, the summoned demon did not respond to the wishes of the cultists, but to the desperate will of Ciel himself. At the moment when the boy refused to accept his fate and swore revenge on the guilty, he offered the demon a deal.

The demon agreed to grant his wish. A contract was signed between them: Sebastian pledged to protect Ciel, serve him until revenge was completed, and help him achieve his goal at all costs. In exchange, after the contract is completed, Ciel's soul must pass to a demon.

Immediately after the pact was made, Sebastian destroyed all members of the cult, freed Ciel, and helped him regain the title of Count of Phantomhive. From that moment on, he took the place of the family's butler and became his master's constant companion, accompanying him in all investigations and dangerous missions.
