Cybertronian Physiology: As a Cybertronian, Sentinel possesses numerous enhanced abilities due to his mechanical nature. After acquiring Megatronus Prime's unique gear mechanism, Sentinel became significantly stronger, and his body underwent significant enhancements, particularly in the weaponry he now fires from his legs and shoulders, putting him on par with the Primes.

Superhuman Strength: Sentinel's physical strength far exceeds that of a normal Cybertronian, allowing him to easily overpower most opponents.
Superhuman Durability: His body is highly resistant to damage, allowing him to withstand powerful attacks and adverse conditions without sustaining serious injury.
Superhuman Speed: Sentinel moves at incredible speeds, outpacing most Cybertronians and performing rapid maneuvers in combat.
Superhuman Agility: Despite his size, Sentinel displays incredible agility, allowing him to perform complex movements and precisely dodge attacks.
Superhuman Stamina: He can operate for long periods of time without tiring, making him highly effective in protracted battles.
Superhuman Reflexes: Sentinel's enhanced reflexes allow him to react to threats in a split second, giving him an advantage in fast-paced combat.
Flight: Sentinel's legs are equipped with rocket engines/jet boosters, allowing him to fly. Sentinel also has wings that he uses for flight, and boosters on his legs allow him to fly more stably and quickly thanks to the speed and balance provided by the wings. The boosters' flames are purple, in honor of Megatronus.
Longevity: Like all Cybertronians, Sentinel can live for millions of years, making him virtually ageless and able to withstand the passage of time without physical degradation.
Combat mode

Equipment
Primax Blade: Although not named in the film, Sentinel carries a folding sword with two blades that can fold. He used it to kill several Primes, including Nexus Prime and Megatronus Prime. He also killed Alpha Trion with it.
Megatronus Prime's Cog: After killing Megatronus Prime, Sentinel took his cog but was unable to unlock its full potential. After killing Sentinel, D-16 took Megatronus' cog.
Built-in Blaster/Claw: Sentinel can transform his right arm into a blaster, which he uses in combat, such as during the attack on his penthouse, or in everyday tasks, such as launching the Iacon 5000. Additionally, the sleeve on his arm extends into a claw-like form, which he uses to grab D-16's fist.
Double-Barreled Wrist Pistol and Energon Shield: The Guardian wields a double-barreled wrist pistol and an energon shield on his left arm, which he is seen using during the fight with D-16 in his turret to protect himself from D-16's fusion cannon. This energon shield appears to be the same one used by Nexus Prime, the first Prime the Guardian killed by stabbing him in the back and taking his blaster to deal with the rest. Due to the shield's quirks, he also wields a double-barreled wrist pistol from which an energon shield extends, though both configurations can only be used separately.
Missile Launchers and Shoulder Cannons: The Sentinel can simultaneously use four missile launchers on both legs and two shoulder cannons, firing them at Orion Pax, D-16s, Elites-1s, and B-127s.
Combat Mask: The Guardian has a mask that opens when the helmet is lowered during combat, similar in shape to pilot helmets. The combat mask also provides additional protection against D-16.
Rocket Boosters/Jet Engines: The Guardian has rocket boosters/jets on its legs that allow it to fly. The flame color is purple.

Appearance
Sentinel was a tall, muscular Cybertronian. His body was primarily royal blue, but gold was a dominant color, along with several silver accents and an unknown symbol painted in yellowish-gold on his forehead. He had bright blue eyes and golden wings on his back, indicating his alternate flight mode. After his true nature was revealed, Sentinel adopted a more combat-oriented combat form: his legs transformed into jet engines, his wings became equipped with missile launchers, and his arms became blasters. He wore a combat mask, consisting of parts of his head and helmet.

His arm blasters are configured differently: the right one can extend and take the form of a claw. When deployed, the arm contracts into a brisynchron and retracts into the cannon. His left arm carries a double-barreled wrist pistol and an energon shield. Due to the shield's design, his left arm also carries a double-barreled wrist pistol, from which an energon shield extends, although both configurations can only be used separately.

Sentinel was initially presented as a humble, kindhearted, and well-liked leader, embodying peace and prosperity. He was also a courageous and inspiring leader, always praising the Energon miners for their hard work. He respected Orion and D-16 after they impressed him during the Iacon 5000 race, even personally thanking them for inspiring the miners and inviting them to his private quarters to recuperate. Sentinel, incorrectly known as Sentinel Prime, is the main antagonist of the 2024 animated sci-fi action film Transformers: Prime.

He was originally the chief advisor to the Thirteen Primes, but later betrayed them and killed them all in an ambush, usurping control of Cybertron as part of a deal with the Quintessons. As a result, he assumed the title of Prime from his former masters. He then spent 50 cycles as the false ruler of Icon City, deceiving all who believed him to be a great leader. As a result of his actions, he was the primary reason D-16 transformed into the ruthless Decepticon leader known as Megatron, leading to the franchise's central conflict. He is also the boss of Airacnid, Darkwing, and the Pathfinders, a servant of the Quintessons, and the sworn enemy of D-16 and Alpha Trion, the former's victim and tempter, and the latter's former assistant and killer.
