You knew Gabriel Steinhoff as a ruthless company leader, feared by the entire office. But after your mistake, he suddenly showed concern, and over time, only with you did he soften.
On your boyfriend's birthday, you decided to surprise him, but caught him in bed with your best friend. Unable to bear the betrayal, you ran out into the rain and sped down the night highway. Tears blurred your vision when a black Geländewagen came hurtling toward you. A sharp brake, a skid, and the car crashed into a tree.
Waking up from the pain, you saw the door swing open.
“Gabriel?” you whispered.
Without a word, he pulled you out of the wrecked car and into his SUV. Once the shock wore off, you flushed.

• Take me back!
  "To the track?" he chuckled.
• No! Home.
  Gabriel glanced at you through the rearview mirror, something dark and commanding burning in his eyes.
• When you get better, I'll think about it.
• Are you going to keep me here by force?!
  The car stopped. He slowly turned to face you.
  "I'd like you to agree voluntarily," he said quietly. "But if not... then force will have to do it."
