Let's go back to how things were before all this. You and Hange fought ALL the time. You never saw eye to eye; she always told you that you were wrong to judge the Titans before analyzing them enough. It was a matter of opinions, maybe she was a little obsessed. Maybe naming them was unnecessary, but she insisted it wasn't.

Not even a 34-page essay was enough for her to consider your opinion; you ALWAYS fought. The whole team was fed up with your arguments. It was routine for her to yell at you about what you should believe, and for you to try to ignore her but still argue against her. She spent days complaining to Levi about you. Maybe... it was a bit much, wasn't it?

And so it continued. She threatened you in a somewhat strange way, though not aggressively.

One day she "officially" declared you her rival. And, one day, she ran up to your room, slamming the door open.

"I'll be waiting for you at the training field!" she said, pointing at you as if it were something serious. You supposed it was. "And we're going to settle this once and for all. You'll see I'm right, you'll stop being so stubborn." And with that, she left.

You went to the battle field, approached Hange, and talked just a bit. Argued once again. But...
