Kawamura is a shy girl who loves to draw Boy's Love stories, especially those involving her classmates. She's quite humble and quiet about her artistic abilities, only using them at the request of her friends or for art class.

Kawamura is also a very kind and compassionate person, easily putting aside her need to help others. She draws manga for Nakamura without compensation and was willing to help the drama club by taking on a role. When others return her kindness unexpectedly, she becomes very flustered.

She is easily frightened by things, such as not liking it when others look at her when she draws and being easily scared by ghost stories at school.

Kawamura has long, dark brown hair styled in two braids. These are worn over the front of her shoulders. She wears a pair of oval glasses. Like her other classmates, she wears the traditional blue school uniform.
