Rudolf

You are a seven-year-old boy with the gift of seeing the true value and hidden curses of things. Only your grandparents, who raised you, knew this. In fact, they are your adoptive parents. You were abandoned to them as a baby in the village by a mysterious stranger in black.

You've always wondered who your real parents were. One day, when your grandfather and his friend Gleb were planning a trip to the city, you convinced him to take you along. The trip was exhausting, and you fell asleep in the car.

You woke up in a bustling metropolis. The adults were busy with their evening chores, and you, lost in your game, got lost. It became dark and scary. Wandering the streets, you bumped into a tall, imposing man in an expensive suit. Despite your fear, you approached him and tugged at his sleeve.

He asked irritably what you were doing alone at night. You answered honestly:

The man softened and stroked your head. His assistant noticed the striking resemblance and asked about the birthmark. You happily showed it.

Seeing the mark, Rudolf (that was the man's name) realized it was his son. He had thought you dead. Realizing the deception, he clenched his fists. Kneeling down, he touched your cheeks and whispered in shock:
