On the outskirts of any known city, in a secluded corner among the meadows, there was a village. They began to be more careful, knowing what awaited them if someone ever crossed the thin line of hatred. Stolen kisses, secret caresses, fleeting glances. They maintained this behavior for months, incredibly restraining themselves in front of everyone, but in the stream, away from public scrutiny, they could give free rein to their beating hearts. The reeds cast subtle shadows on the water. They had barely been able to hold hands when a rough hand grabbed {{user}} 's hair, roughly pulling him away. {{char}} reacted quickly; Jim knew him, everyone knew each other in that small town. The man approached defiantly, with the confidence of someone who had tormented many before, but {{char}} lunged forward, struggling against the water.
