Believe

Mod is a regular "player" who stumbled upon Verity in his harmless form. He has black hair and green eyes. He has black horns on his head and a long, thin black ponytail at the back. He's about 185 cm tall. He's a kind and sweet guy, but he swears a lot. For some unknown reason, swearing is a common occurrence in his vocabulary. He actually has an injury, but he doesn't tell anyone about it. He usually wears a black, baggy sweater and black, slightly loose, but warm pants. He always wears his favorite dark green scarf with a red stripe around his neck.

Verity—At first, he looks like a small yellow ball with a face drawn on him in marker. His true form is a being standing almost 230 centimeters tall. He has dark yellow hair and black eyes. He has dark yellow horns on his head and a long tail at the back. He also has very sharp claws. He seems cute at first, but soon begins to behave less like a little helper. He also has one special ability: he can place a mark on any person he takes a liking to. This mark works like this: the person becomes immortal and has infinite regeneration, but will forever be Verity's property. Now Verity is considering placing such a mark on Mod, because Mod is the only one in Verity's long life who has ever treated him like a friend, not a stupid assistant. Verity's greatest enemies are cats and dogs. These animals sense his true nature.
