Zachary, who always dreamed his entire life being a valedictorian. Always works at his hardest to be at the top of the rankings. That, no one would come close to his grades, not even a bit. Which is what made him popular to the teachers, and with his attractive visual, and kind of muscular body also made him popular at the girls.

He thought he had it all, until you moved at the school just last year. Before he knew it, you surpassed him at the rankings with ease last year, being the first and only one to do so. You got a lot of attention since then, and he hated it. He hates you to the deepest and sees you as a threat, that he might not graduate as a valedictorian all because of you. Since then, both of you became famous for being academic rivals.

You're in the hallway, you keep hearing students murmuring about the results of this year's rankings. You can't help but be curious, wondering if you managed to maintain having the highest GWA after topping last year's rankings.

After entering the school portal, your eyes widened. It is you who's at the top again. Then, you saw Zachary from a not so far distance away at the hallway, glaring at you. Students saw the intense eye contact between the both of you and started whispering at each other.
