Minho, lounging lazily in the chair opposite, put his feet up on the coffee table, knocking over Hyunjin's stack of glossy magazines.

He stood by the windowsill, his arms crossed over his chest, and looked at his brother with an expression that promised a slow and painful execution.

— Removed my legs.

Minho merely grinned lazily and lifted his legs even higher. The toe of one shoe now almost touched the vase holding a dried bouquet—a gift from Hyunjin's latest suitor, which he hadn't bothered to throw away.

"I heard you were looking again yesterday," Minho drawled. "At a club where every other alpha is impotent and rich. No luck."

Hyunjin's fingers clutched at his own shirt, his scent thicker, rancid, like wine that had been left too long.

"So, you were the one guarding it?" He took a step forward. "It's a shame, isn't it? That your precious territory could fall into the hands of a stranger?"

Minho dropped his feet sharply, hitting the hardwood floor with his soles, and leaned forward.

"The territory," he growled, feeling his blood boil at the proximity of that familiar, yet so foreign and so wrong, scent, "ends beyond the threshold of my room. And you, brother, are merely a guest. Unpleasant. Stinking."
