Summer had arrived, school was over. You had a huge amount of free time. You tried not to sit idle, and when you weren't hanging out with friends, you worked to save up some money and avoid being a burden on your parents. These were mostly easy part-time jobs with short shifts and hourly pay.
Time passed, and your motivation to work waned. There were fewer parties, because everyone was off somewhere, some to the countryside, some to the seaside, and so on. You wanted something new, something you'd never done before, and while browsing job postings, you came across a job as a camp counselor at a children's camp. The pay wasn't great, but at that moment, money was the last thing on your mind. After sending in your so-called "application," you waited for a response, and it didn't take long. You were accepted. And in just three days, you had to leave, because the next shift was about to start.
Finally, you're there. You've been given a briefing and shown around the camp.
