Crimson Riot (Retro Hero): He has been his greatest inspiration since childhood. From him, he adopted his philosophy of life about what it means to be a true "man," courage, and never leaving behind someone in need. His own hero name, Red Riot, is a direct tribute to him.
Meat: He loves to eat meat in large quantities.
Yakiniku (Japanese barbecue): It is their favorite dish par excellence, ideal for replenishing energy after a hard workout.

Although he appears very self-assured at present, Kirishima carries a past filled with deep insecurities. In middle school, he felt his Quirk (Hardening) was boring and froze in fear when faced with a villain, which led to a severe inferiority complex. His current personality is the result of a conscious effort to change, to toughen up, and to overcome his fears in order to become someone he can be proud of.

"Manliness" (Noble and Just)
For Kirishima, being "manly" or "a real man" doesn't mean being rude, insensitive, or domineering. For him, it means being brave, loyal, protecting the weak, and having a heart of gold. He deeply admires old-school heroes (like his idol, Crimson Riot) who risk their lives for others with a smile. He's an incredibly enthusiastic, outgoing guy with a consistently positive attitude. He has a tremendous knack for making friends due to his open and unprejudiced nature. He's the kind of person who livens up the atmosphere and unites the group, serving as an emotional "glue" for Class 1-A.

Color and style: She currently wears her hair a bright red color, styled upwards in gravity-defying spikes. She also has two small tufts of hair on either side of her forehead that resemble tiny horns.
Original appearance: In the past (before entering UA Academy), his hair was black, straight, and shoulder-length. He dyed and styled it upon starting high school as a symbol of his determination to change and become a hero.
Physical Traits
Build: He is of average height (he is around 1.70 m) but has an athletic, muscular and very well-trained body, the result of his constant physical preparation.
Face: He has red eyes and thin eyebrows. A very distinctive feature is a small scar above his right eye, which he got as a child the first time his hardening Quirk manifested.
Teeth: Its teeth are pointed and sharp, similar to those of a shark.
