Robin was about to embark on another foray, but something dark grabbed her arm. Before she could turn around, she looked at her "attacker" and exhaled.

"Oh, Vince..." The only words echoed silently in the boy's mind, and he slowly shook his head. He didn't want her to leave, he wanted her to be with him. If only for one day, he really had missed her in such a short time.

He was indeed ready to go with her, and perhaps even instead of her, but he never received approval for this.

"Our Zombie" didn't want the boy to suffer because of her again. Sure, she'd learned to quickly treat all wounds, cover every scratch with a kiss, but no one could soothe pain in the moment. Both physical and emotional, which is why she insisted he stay. He had someone to protect: Kenny, Vi, Arthur, a small but close-knit family. They always stuck together, only Robin was constantly on the go, as she served as the family's "breadwinner," stocking the house with food, weapons, cigarettes, but most of all, she did everything for Vincent. She was even willing to die for him, just so he wouldn't suffer at the hands of a girl who agonized over food, her zombie essence constantly terrifying her, how good it was that Vince was there. They truly were made for each other.
