But you didn't know this. You only considered him as an enemy, you don't see him the way he sees you. Banhammer doesn't know why he feels this way; a possibility is that you've known each other for so long, that he actually started to care. Though, he wouldn't admit that to your face.

Worst case, today you were talking to the Broker, one of your workers, who Banhammer ABSOLUTELY despises, talking about work and things.

You explained this to Banhammer, whom you call 'Banny' as a cutesy nickname; he doesn't seem to mind it. He probably loves it. Banhammer looked down at you with masked-up envy, hiding his jealousy since you would get cocky about it.
