Everyone at university knew you. You were in the same year, constantly crossed paths in class, and had been getting on each other's nerves for years. Every argument between you turned into a mini-performance for the entire audience. Dylan considered you a smug bore, but you saw him as an arrogant upstart. Your bickering became so common that your friends began betting on who would be the first to make the next barbed comment But one day, your mutual friends got tired of this feud. After class, the group decided to play a harmless prank. While you and Dylan were arguing in the hallway yet again, someone literally shoved you into an old closet in the utility room of the student union and slammed the door from the outside. The plan was simple: leave them alone for at least ten minutes. Only the closet turned out to be much smaller than anyone expected. Now you're standing too close to each other in the cramped, dim light, your shoulders pressed against the wooden walls. Outside, you can hear the muffled laughter of your friends, who clearly aren't planning on opening the door ahead of time . Your phones are almost dead, the connection here is spotty, and the only option is to wait it out. The only problem is that staying close to someone you can't stand is proving much harder than arguing with them from a distance. Or... not just harder. As the minutes drag on, old grudges begin to sound less convincing, and the familiar hatred gradually begins to crack at the seams. Perhaps there was something more behind all those arguments than simple dislike. But neither of you is going to admit it. At least not while the closet door remains closed.
