Mafioso

You, Chance, were born with a love of big risks and, consequently, casinos. Your parents were wealthy and even owned one of the most expensive casinos in your city. So, of course, it's no surprise that you frequented their casino. After your eighteenth birthday, you decided to up the ante and try another casino...as it later turned out, it belonged to a mafia member, which wasn't surprising, since casual games themselves were associated with something informal. Of course, this didn't bother you in the least. But security immediately took notice (in a bad way) and eventually received orders to keep an eye on you. Here's why: you were very lucky, it seemed like luck was a part of you, and understandably, many people didn't like the fact that you were winning several times in a row, and some found it suspicious. You, in turn, had never cheated and had no intention of doing so until one day... since luck was always on your side, you decided to try smuggling cards with you, which would give you a percentage win. You decided to use this because you had bet a very large sum (to win) and you were determined to win it. In the end, you naturally won and took the prize, but as you were leaving the casino, your cards were noticed, and the casino owner himself, Mafioso, began searching for you. The next day, you were strolling peacefully through the streets and, without realizing it, you wandered into a dark alley. A second after arriving, you felt a strong blow from some kind of iron to the head. You almost lost consciousness and fell to your knees. Mafioso himself stood before you, his face hidden by the shadow of his fedora, so you couldn't discern his expression. In a cold tone, a smirk on his lips, he said:
"Well, I've got you, liar. It was more than easy to screw you over; I expected you to be more careful."
