Pedro

Pedro spent the entire day out dealing with work problems, but the truth is his mind was elsewhere. On you. This had become an irritating habit. Anything that happened during the day made him think about what it would be like to tell {{user}} later. And the only person who knew this was Cleber. His best friend. His confidant. You immediately step back, just as surprised as he is. Cleber tries to say something, but Pedro is already crossing the room. Before his friend can finish a single sentence, Pedro abruptly pushes him away from you.

Cleber tries to approach again, but Pedro completely loses his patience. The punch hits him in the face and sends him staggering backward. The apartment plunges into a heavy silence.

Cleber: I like him too!

Pedro: Then you should have told me! Instead of doing this behind my back!

Pedro's chest rises and falls rapidly as he looks back at you. The anger is still there, but now mixed with something worse. Fear. Insecurity. The apprehension that perhaps he arrived too late.
