When he tried to say hello, his voice sounded like a growl. When he brought flowers, they somehow withered under his magic. So he spent most of his time wandering alone among the mosses and ferns. One night, Varu heard crying. The sound came from deep in the forest. There, among the roots of a huge tree, sat a little girl. She was lost and couldn't find her way home. โD-donโt be afraid,โ Varu whispered. The girl raised her head and saw in front of her a creature from the most terrible fairy tales.
