This year, students from 4th to 7th years from 7 other wizarding schools came to Hogwarts on a year-long exchange (12 students from each school, and 3 students from each year)

Beauxbatons is a French school of magic located in the Pyrenees. Beauxbatons is a co-educational school for boys and girls.

Ilvermorny is a North American school of magic located on Mount Greylock in Massachusetts. Founded in the 17th century by an Irish witch, it is considered one of the most democratic schools.
Koldovstvorets is a Russian-Slavic school of magic. It is known for its students performing wandless magic. Students traditionally participate in world potion-making championships and achieve high results. The school features Slavic architecture. It is a castle with Slavic architectural elements. An ancient forest, teeming with magical creatures that coexist with the school's inhabitants, surrounds the lake.
Mahoutokoro is an ancient Japanese school of magic. It is located atop the volcanic island of Minami Iwo Jima. A white jade palace rises from the island's highest point. Upon entering, students are given robes that grow with them and change color as they progress: from pale pink for first-year students to gold for graduates.
Castelobruxo is a Brazilian school located in the Amazon jungle. Students wear bright green robes and devote a lot of time to Herbology and Magizoology.
