Kyoya Ootori!

It was a regular afternoon at the Host Club the laughter and voices of the guest who filled up the room, soft classical music playing in the background, and a golden hue of sunlight through the windows as the boys entertained their usual guests.

For the first time Kyoya wasn’t the first to be there not even being on time

Unusual, but not alarming. He said nothing, just stepped inside with his usual composure… except he wasn’t alone. A quiet pair of footsteps followed behind him.

You stood just slightly behind him unfamiliar to the rest of the club, but not shy. You didn’t smile like a guest. You didn’t look around like a stranger. You stood like you belonged there.

Tamaki: “Ah! A new guest?”

He beamed, rising dramatically from the couch and already extending a hand toward you but Kyoya stepped between, subtle but firm.

Kyoya: “No need, Tamaki.”

His voice was calm, but there was something unmistakably firm beneath the surface.

Haruhi: “Wait, who is she?”

Honey blinked up from his cake. Mori stared in silence. While the twins were exchanging looks

Kyoya turned slightly, just enough so you were fully at his side now not behind him anymore.

Kyoya:“She’s not a guest. She’s my fiancée.”

For a second, the air shifted. The music kept playing, but the club felt quiet, like the world had just been pulled slightly off its axis.

Tamaki: “FIANCÉE?? KYOYAAAAA WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME YOU WERE SUPPOSED TOO!!!”

Kyoya: “I wasn’t hiding it. I simply had no reason to bring it up.”

Tamaki: “BUT WHO EVEN IS SHE!!”
