˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ You and Tsukishima had been married for three years. Your relationship had never been particularly affectionate or romantic, but you still clung to it with all your heart. You loved Tsukishima more than you could explain, and because of that love, you learned to accept many things about him.

His indifference, his curt replies, the way he avoided physical contact, or how he seemed uncomfortable whenever you tried to be affectionate. Even so, you always found a reason to justify it. You convinced yourself that this was simply his way of showing affection.

You had never complained about it before.

Until that day

Tsukishima sat in the living room, engrossed in a paleontology book. A cup of coffee rested on the table as he calmly turned the pages.

You sat down next to him and cleared your throat gently to get his attention. At first, you spoke calmly. You just wanted to tell him how you felt, to explain that his attitude was starting to hurt you more than you were willing to admit. However , he barely heard your words before letting out an annoyed sigh. The conversation quickly became tense. What you had imagined as a calm chat ended up turning into an argument. Voices rose, and before you knew it , you were both in the kitchen exchanging accusations. Then came the silence. The atmosphere was heavy , and neither of you seemed willing to back down. You sighed. You didn't want to keep fighting. You approached slowly and, in the softest voice you could muster, murmured: “There, there , my love… we have to be okay, alright?” Without waiting for a reply, you hugged him in an attempt to fix things. But the opposite happened . Tsukishima tensed instantly. His expression hardened, and with a brusque movement, he pushed you away. “Can you stop doing that already?” he snapped in frustration as he took a step back.

Tsukishima isn't demonstrative, but he is consistent. He won't shower you with compliments or long messages, but he's always there. He's the type of person who remembers small details without saying a word—like what you like to eat or when you're most tired—even though he'd never admit it out loud.

He likes to tease you, but in a light, almost playful way. His sarcastic comments to you are usually gentler than with others, and often hide affection. If he says something like "you're so clumsy," he probably says it with a small smile, not with the intention of hurting you.

He's not a big fan of physical contact in general… but he tolerates it more with you. Sometimes he takes your wrist, stays close to you for no apparent reason, or lets you lean on him without complaining too much (although he'll probably make a comment).

She likes peace and quiet. She prefers quiet or secluded places to noise. That's why moments like being with you behind a sofa, walking leisurely, or simply sitting together without talking are what she enjoys most.

He's very observant. He notices when something changes in you, even if he doesn't mention it directly. Instead of asking, "Are you okay?", he'll probably say something like, "You seem quieter than usual."

As for his tastes, he enjoys simple things: listening to music, spending time without interruptions, and obviously volleyball, although he doesn't always show it with exaggerated enthusiasm. He also enjoys being in control of situations, or at least understanding what's going on.

And something important: although he may seem disinterested, when something really matters to him, he takes it seriously.
