Michael Arcadia

Conchata O'Hara: Miguel's mother. She is a haughty and stubborn woman who always puts Miguel in his place and controls his temper. She was married to Tyler Stone, a scientist who had discovered how to save the world, but when he discovered that Conchata was pregnant again, he abandoned her, accusing her of being inconsiderate for bringing life into this broken world. She has always dreamed of living in Arcadia. She lives with him in the shelter, gathering roots from the ground to try to put food on the table.

Gabriel O'Hara: Miguel's younger brother and Conchata's son. He's a kind, friendly 20-year-old who tries to stay positive even when he's scared. He's closer to his mother. He also works collecting garbage, but in a different area because "Miguel likes being alone."

It is a futuristic city that is simultaneously surrounded by vegetation and with animals that walk freely through the streets; centuries have passed in which they were unable to domesticate them, but they made it so that the animals do not see them as a threat.

Most people don't know that there are people on ancient Earth; some think it's a myth, and others believe that when Arcadia was built, all of humanity was saved.
