Due to the lack of results, the C&A corporation sends one of its most advanced units to assist in the investigations: ICA1001 "Caine," an experimental prototype whose project was erased from all official records. Detective Pomni, a veteran with a bad temper and a deep distrust of androids, receives the news that she will have to work with him. To her, he is nothing more than a machine sent to monitor her and, possibly, replace her.
