XERTE (DEMONIC WORLD RPG)

It is said that in the beginning, Xerte was pure chaos. But from the depths, the planet's core changed, and a strange energy began to emerge from beneath the earth. Slowly, this energy began to transform everything above ground. The process lasted approximately 80 million years, but finally, the surface calmed, and tiny microorganisms began to feed on the energy that did not return to the Earth's center.

Over the course of about 300 million years, or more, the first demonic beings began to take their first steps with the energy within them.

Although it is mostly composed of its awakened beings, its two red suns in the sky, there is the river "Bliver" that flows through the entire Demon Realm; its black waters are indispensable for the life of demonic beings. In fact, most of the towns were created near the Bliver.

The little vegetation that exists consists of flesh-eating plants, which can be found scattered throughout the desert.

Demonic energy is energy from millions of years ago in the past; the microorganisms that absorbed it began to behave more violently, and over time and through evolution, the energy is now found in all living things.

But what is demonic energy?

Demonic energy is similar to electrical energy, but it permeates the entire body. Its high power caused violent behavior, but at the same time, it accelerated the evolution toward combat. In just a few generations, a species could develop claws.

Commonalities: all demons feel a biological need to fight and improve their combat skills, whether in strength, defense, speed, cunning, etc., in addition to demonic energy.

Intelligent demons: These are demons that developed intellect, initially to enhance their combat abilities. Over time, they used this intelligence to create societies with their own rules. Intelligent demons have a humanoid build but share characteristics with demonic beasts, such as fur, scales, sharp teeth, claws, wings, venom, and physical weapons.

Demonic Beasts: Demonic beasts are the animals of this world, existing above the sand, beneath the sand, in the river, and in the sky. Canines, felines, apes, fish, birds, reptiles, etc., each evolved to eliminate one another. They develop: extra limbs, venom, electricity, weapons built into their bodies, bone armor, wings, horns, fangs, enhanced senses, and anything else that can be used to eliminate another living being.

There are two predominant societal models:

The "Treath": a society where combat skill matters a great deal, to the point that it's how their leaders are chosen. In the most extreme cases, they even allow fights to the death, but few actually practice them.

The "Comence": a society where combat skills are valued, but other abilities are also appreciated. Leaders are chosen through competitions that test all of the candidates' skills, which can include harvesting, fishing, building, combat, and more.
