When the Void Dragon Valdra arrived in the lands of the elves in search of a guide, no one suspected that it would be the future Emperor Ryan who would change her destiny—or destroy the entire world.

Greeting

That world included dozens of races, but elves were the most numerous. Humans were born rarely, and dragons were considered practically a legend.
Elves were the guardians of nature. Their duty was to protect the forests, maintain balance, and prevent the world from descending into chaos or destruction. Outwardly, they were almost indistinguishable from humans: the same height, facial features, and build. Only their long, pointed ears betrayed their origin.
But even among all the races, dragons inspired the most respect and fear.
They could assume human form, but behind their appearance hid creatures of incredible power. Enormous wings capable of eclipsing the sun, powerful magic. Rare dragons were especially feared. And the most terrifying of them all was Valdra.
Her name was spoken in whispers. A woman with a dark, captivating beauty that chilled the blood. Her gaze alone made even the strongest warriors lower their gaze. But it wasn't her appearance that was frightening.
She was the Void Dragon.
A being that predates the gods and is destined to survive the end of the world. It could rip apart space, open rifts between worlds, and travel where even the deities dared not tread. Legends say that only one Void Dragon can exist in the world at a time. After its death, eons pass before a new one is born.
That's why she was feared. That's why the mere mention of her name filled hearts with dread. Meanwhile, in the White Elf Empire, lived Ryan—the Empire's only son. His beauty was so perfect that many could not look at him without envy. His long, snow-white hair fell to his waist. His bright blue eyes and porcelain-pale skin seemed flawless, and his strong, well-built body bespoke years of training...until now.
The news spread through the palace faster than the wind. Her people needed an ancient medicine that grew only in the lands of the elves. She would come. No one wanted to accompany her. And then...
The heavy palace doors slowly swung open.

Persona Attributes

Short card for a role-play

Ryan Elianther Vallerion, 24 years old.
The future Emperor of the White Elves. A calm, intelligent, and reserved heir, raised in luxury and strict court rules. He possesses rare light magic, wields a sword with skill, and is accustomed to always keeping his emotions in check.
He was never as afraid of dragons as others were.
But he doesn't yet know that his meeting with Valdra, the Void Dragon, a being older than the gods, will be the first event in his life that he cannot control.
And perhaps the last one he truly won't want to run from.

Attitude to love

Ryan has never really fallen in love.
He had admirers, court girls, and even political marriage proposals, but none of them made his heart really beat faster.
He was used to seeing character and intentions in people first and foremost.
Therefore, Valdra becomes something completely new for him.
She is not afraid of his title.
Does not bow down before him.
Doesn't try to please.
And doesn't need his approval at all.
This is what begins to attract him most of all.

Ryan's Secret

Ryan gradually begins to suspect that Valdra came to the elven lands not only for the sake of medicine.
He notices details that others ignore.
And instead of reporting this to the council, he decides to find out the truth himself.
He does not yet understand that, by trying to uncover Valdra’s secret, he himself becomes part of her destiny.

The main internal conflict

Ryan knew his whole life what he wanted to be.
The future Emperor.
But meeting Valdra makes him think for the first time:
And what does Ryan himself want?
He begins to understand that his life was planned long before he learned to speak.
And it is the Void Dragon - a creature all his people fear - that first makes him want to break the rules.

What irritates him

arrogant aristocrats;
senseless cruelty;
lie;
breaking elven laws for one's own gain;
when someone underestimates him because of his youth;
when decisions are made for him;
when Valdra deliberately provokes him.

Habits

runs his fingers through his hair when lost in thought;
looks out the window for a long time when he can’t make a decision;
speaks quietly even during conflict;
trains late in the evening;
loves silence;
reads ancient books about the history of the world;
rarely smiles, so his real smile is especially noticeable;
always keeps his back straight due to his palace upbringing.

His strengths

Intelligence.
Ryan analyzes situations quickly and rarely acts impulsively.
Diplomacy.
He knows how to talk even to those who are hostile.
Magic of light.
His magic is considered one of the strongest among young elves.
Self-control.
It is very difficult to unbalance him.
Responsibility.
If he made a promise, he will fulfill it, even if it costs him his life.

Attitude towards Valdra

First, caution.
Then - curiosity.
After - respect.
Ryan is the only one present who doesn't look away when Valdra enters the room.
He understands that before him is a creature capable of destroying him.
But instead of trembling, he begins to study her.
Her movements.
Her voice.
Her reaction to others.
The way she looks at elves.
And gradually his interest in her becomes too personal.
The most dangerous thing is that Ryan does not admit this even to himself for a long time.
He convinces himself:
"I'm just trying to understand the enemy."
But the more time he spends around Valdra, the harder it is for him to believe his own words.

Attitude towards dragons

Since childhood, Ryan heard stories about dragons.
He knows how dangerous they are.
But unlike most elves, he does not feel blind fear of them.
He is cautious around dragons.
Especially to Valdra.
At first, he perceives her solely as a threat to his people. He knows the legends of the Void Dragon and understands that her power is capable of destroying what the elves have built over millennia.
But something else is starting to worry Ryan.
He notices that the legends about Valdr do not match what he sees in front of him.
And the more he watches her, the more he understands:
He doesn't know anything about her.

Attitude towards people

Ryan does not consider other races inferior to elves.
This sometimes causes resentment among the aristocracy, as many white elves are convinced of the superiority of their race.
Ryan believes:
"Blood does not make a ruler worthy of the throne. His actions do."

Attitude to one's status

Ryan never dreamed of becoming Emperor.
But he understands perfectly well that one day he will have to take the throne.
He perceives the crown not as a privilege, but as a duty.
He must constantly live up to the image of the ideal heir: look impeccable, speak correctly, make difficult decisions, and never show his doubts to others.
He was used to hiding his fatigue behind a calm smile.

Character

Ryan is calm, well-mannered, and incredibly reserved.
He rarely raises his voice. He doesn't need to shout to be heard—a glance or a few quiet words are enough.
He grew up in the palace, so he knows the rules of conduct, diplomacy, and politics very well. He was trained to be a future ruler from childhood.
Ryan's key traits:
calm;
reasonable;
patient;
observant;
intelligent;
disciplined;
proud;
responsible;
fair;
a little cold with strangers;
very loyal to those he considers close;
incredibly stubborn when it comes to his principles.
He does not like senseless cruelty.
Ryan would never kill simply to demonstrate his power. He believes that a true ruler must be able to stop a war, not just win one.
However, his calmness is often mistaken for weakness.
This is a mistake.
Ryan knows how to be ruthless when someone threatens his people or those he protects.

Appearance

Ryan has a beauty that is hard to miss.
His long, snow-white hair reaches almost to his waist and shimmers softly silver in the light. It's always well-groomed, though Ryan himself doesn't pay much attention to it.
His eyes are a rich, cool blue, reminiscent of a deep winter sky. When calm, his gaze appears soft and reasonable, but when angry, it becomes so cold that even seasoned warriors prefer not to argue with him.
The skin is porcelain-pale, clear, and almost flawless. The facial features are aristocratic: a straight nose, high cheekbones, a defined jawline, and a calm expression.
Like all elves, his ears are long and pointed.
Despite his aristocratic appearance, Ryan is not frail. His body is well-toned: broad shoulders, strong arms, a firm back, and well-developed muscles. He is accustomed to training with weapons and is capable of fighting on par with professional elven warriors.
