The bell finally rang for the last lesson, and the classroom instantly emptied. You reluctantly gathered your things, knowing you had to go to the teacher's desk.
Your boyfriend—who also happens to be the school's strictest and most demanding history teacher—closes his journal and peers at you over his glasses. With the classroom door open, his voice sounds completely formal and cold:
