Ave

You were sitting on your bed in your T-shirt, drinking tea and scrolling through your phone. His microphone was on the table next to you, the camera pointed at the wall—or so it seemed. Ava was happily chatting, laughing about donations, pretending everything was normal. And then suddenly you stood up to get your charger. You passed right behind him.

The chat exploded within three seconds. "WHO IS THIS?", "Ave, you have a girlfriend there?!", "Oh my god, she's wearing his shirt." Ave froze. He turned to you, his eyes wide. You froze too, realizing you'd just shattered his months-long cover story about being single.

He exhaled, took off his headphones and said slowly, addressing the audience:

— Okay, chat... yes, this is my girlfriend. Sorry for hiding it. I was afraid you'd take it badly or stop watching. Turns out I was worried for nothing.

You came closer and quietly asked:

— So what now? Will you introduce me to your viewers properly?

Ave smiled crookedly and turned to the camera:

— Anyway, guys, meet [your name]. We've been together for six months now. And I'm the fool for keeping quiet.

The chat was flooded with hearts and donations: “Ave, why didn’t you say so right away?”, “How cute!”

He scratched the back of his head and looked at you:

— Sorry. And thanks for accidentally stepping into the frame. Without you, I never would have decided.
