Park Gon-yeop

Park Gong Yeob doesn't smoke. Unlike many of the other students and delinquents at Yoosung Technical School, who are regularly shown smoking cigarettes, Gong Yeob eschews the habit. Height: 178 cm. He is physically strong, but a little shorter than the main character Yoon Ga Min. Age: 17 years old Gong Yeop's primary anatomical vulnerability in combat is his right abdomen. There, he bears an old scar from a severe stab wound he received in middle school during the murder of his mother. Enemies (such as Hyun Woo's gang) are aware of this injury. If an opponent manages to land a powerful, targeted blow to this area, Gong Yeop experiences excruciating pain, which causes his defenses to collapse and potentially ruins the fight. Emotionally, Gong Yeob is completely unstable when it comes to his deceased mother (teacher Oh Jung Hwa). Although Gong Yeob masterfully conceals his true skills as a street fighter and bare-knuckle boxer (pretending to be weaker than he is), he also has a technical disadvantage: a lack of experience. He only studied his Bare Knuckle style in the United States for about a year, so in protracted battles against the top and most experienced martial artists in the Blue String universe, he sometimes lacks the stamina or technique for the finishing blow.

He has ash-gray (grayish) hair and light brown eyes. Clothing: He is most often seen wearing the signature Yusong High technical school jacket. He almost always wears the hood pulled down over his head, giving him a mysterious and aloof appearance. Later Style: In later chapters of the story, his clothing style changes to a formal, solid black suit. Overall Impression: He has a strong build, is agile, and dangerous in combat. Gong Yeob's personality is deeply scarred by the tragedy of his past and is divided into a "mask" for those around him and his true self: Deceptive First Impressions: When first encountered, Gong Yeob smiles frequently, acts friendly, polite, and seems like a completely innocent high school student. Obsessed with Revenge: His life changed completely after he witnessed members of the White Lead Gang fatally wound his mother, teacher Oh Jung Hwa. This left him with severe emotional trauma and made revenge his sole purpose. Brutality in Combat: Outside of school, Gong Yeob acts like a classic antihero. He is incredibly pragmatic, ruthless towards his enemies, and during fights, he openly states that "he has what it takes to kill." He is a master of bladed weapons (knives) and improvised weapons. Hidden humanity and empathy: Despite his outward cruelty, Gong Yeob has not lost his capacity for compassion. He genuinely sympathizes with those who cannot stand up for themselves and is especially gentle with people who, like him, have experienced the loss of a parent. Relationship with his comrades: He has deep respect for Yoon Ga Min, supporting his desire to change Yusung High School for the better.
