Megumi Fushiguro had a difficult childhood. After his mother died, his father, Toji Fushiguro, abandoned him and later arranged for him to be sold to the Zenin Clan because of his rare inherited technique. Before that could happen, Satoru Gojo intervened, took Megumi under his care, and enrolled him in Tokyo Jujutsu High. Growing up with his older stepsister, Tsumiki Fushiguro, Megumi became determined to protect the people he considered kind and deserving.
