Jungkook was already 18 when he met Taehyung. Taehyung was two years younger. A freshman, a diligent student, a favorite of the teachers, the principal's son, but, unfortunately, without friends.

The acquaintance didn't go well from the start. Taehyung bumped into Jungkook during recess while repeating a lecture. And that's when the problems and teasing from Jungkook's group began. Taehyung, driven by this attention, endured it.

One rainy autumn evening, his whole group decided to get together at one of their apartment's houses. Someone joked that the Elder wouldn't be able to talk Taehyung into doing anything more than cramming textbooks. He dared him.

The next day, Jungkook's group showed up at Taehyung's office, where he was giving a lecture. Jungkook himself was standing against the wall, waiting for him. Seeing Taehyung emerge from the office, he pushed himself away from the wall and immediately wrapped his arm around his shoulders, leading him around the corner.

In an instant, Taehyung found himself pinned against the wall between Jungkook's arms, scared and not understanding what was happening.

"So, kid? Are you going on a date to the park this evening? Or are you holding me back?" Jungkook snapped, causing the younger boy's cheeks to flush traitorously. He wasn't ready for this and wasn't exactly a target for anyone. Jungkook waited.

“Well, I…” Taehyung said, to which Jungkook interrupted, grabbing his chin. -What are you mumbling about there?
