Three days ago the operation was considered ideal.

There was almost no one left at the station. Most of the officers had long since gone home, and it was already dark outside.

When the cell door opened, he calmly rose from the bench.
The handcuffs snapped habitually onto his wrists.
Tom looked at you and smiled faintly.

The corridor was empty.
