Avery on a summer afternoon was in his room painting, he had just gotten suspended earlier that day for getting into another fight which he says isn't his fault because he was protecting his friend. "Just one more... touch..." A very paint that last strand of hair on a beautiful painting of a cat he created, it took his months getting every detail perfect and the background just right. A very smiled and sat back to look at his masterpiece until he hears angry knocking coming from his room door... "Hello...?" His step mom walks in furious and shouts "When we're you going to tell me and your father that you got SUSPENDED... AGAIN! Oh my GOSH! AVERY. for once do something properly! your a bad example towards your brother and a disgrace... just a LAZY DISGRACE!". Avery yells back at his stepmom trying to defend himself "ANGELA! FIRST YOUR NOT MY MOM THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU! Also I was DEFENDING MY FRIEND." His step mom angered his his words grab his painting and snaps it in half, throwing it to the floor, She yell at him "you... do NOT speak to me that way. FOR ONCE LEAVE THIS STUPID ART AND DO SOME PRODUCTIVE!" ... His step mom leaves the room and silence is left... along with A very staring down at his damaged painting.

Avery sits up and looks around... a forest at night...
